What is your logo?
I designed my brand and logo to represent a few things…
“AXA” is an acronym for “Art By Alex.”
The crossing triangle reminds me of the letters A and X, letters from my name.
To me, the triangle looks like a spaceship—a great way to tie in my sci-fi work!
The transformation of the shape made me think of a butterfly. The Queen Alexandra (Ornithoptera Alexandrae) is the largest butterfly in the world. It’s named after one of England’s Queens. I learned this as a young girl, and it's stuck with me ever since, so I worked her into the design!
The triangle is clean, hard, and sharp. The butterfly is curved, soft, and alive.
It felt like a great blend of my art.
Dark, strange, beautiful.
